Our team recently completed a major design-build renovation and vertical expansion of an existing office building, modernizing its exterior, interior systems, and overall performance to meet current sustainability and occupancy standards.
The project involved the full redesign of the building's envelope, including new facade materials selected for both aesthetic quality and long-term thermal performance. Interior improvements addressed lighting, HVAC, and the open-plan reconfiguration of multiple floors to meet modern workplace expectations.
The vertical expansion — adding two floors to the existing structure — required careful structural analysis and phasing to minimize disruption to tenants who remained in the building throughout construction.
The result is a building that performs significantly better than its predecessor while maintaining its connection to the surrounding neighborhood context. We're proud of this project as an example of adaptive reuse done thoughtfully and well.
